To address higher requirements in the GNSS market, in particular the reception of signals with higher bandwidth and poor amplitude levels, Saphyrion has developed, through an ESA contract the next generation of GNSS RF-Front-end ASICs, called  SY1009 and the SY2001. The SY1009 is a radiation hardened L-band RF down-converter for GNSS receivers. The SY2001  is a radiation hardened fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizer for operation in the L-band. The aim of this proposal is to develop the next steps for product finalization, in particular non-recurring developments such as the needed infrastructure for the assembly, production screening and qualification (following ESCC9000 standard).
