Register for the Final Presentation of the NAVISP EL2 127 Project "Cloud-Based Snapshot RTK"

The EL2 127 project aimed to develop a ground-breaking, cloud-based snapshot receiver that delivers high-precision positioning using real-time kinematics (RTK) algorithms. This unique system is designed to transmit snapshots of raw (I&Q) samples from a receiver to a cloud server for processing. The receiver can be a streamlined radiofrequency (RF) frontend with internet connectivity.

Upon receiving the snapshot, the state-of-the-art Albora algorithms extract vital information for processing with standard RTK algorithms. Concurrently, the cloud connects to Albora's network of reference stations, providing the RTK algorithms with the necessary data. This cohesive approach enables the system to achieve centimetre-level, high-precision positioning for assets needing sporadic positioning, such as devices within the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape.

The project was carried out in the scope of NAVISP Element 2, which is devoted to supporting competitiveness of European industries.
